Rambly-Ramble-Rambling
Hello all,
Today, I will ramble. I shall do this because I have news but am entirely devoid of inspiration today, and so it transpires this entry will be haphazard and disjointed. To remedy this, I am bombarding you with even more pointless verbiage than normal. Now... Onwards!
So on Saturday I am attending a speech by HH The Dalai Lama. Now, this is a big deal. This is a world-class revolutionary, come to preach his message of peace and goodwill to a select (but mostly indifferent) few. It sets my heart a flutter just thinking about it even while I sigh in exasperation at the uninspiring masses. Now, I am not a religious person, but I do consider myself spiritual at least. So I am very interested to hear his thoughts and his ways, especially regarding "The Material Plain" However, it is not just him I am looking forward to seeing....
Because, a Mr Russell Brand will be in attendance! About this I am ecstatic. Yes, I adore his comedy, and yes I adore HIM, but much more than this I find him incredibly interesting when he digs a little deeper. For such a seemingly decadent man he is surprisingly giving, and his views on what it means to be human and part of this endless mundane cycle is unique to say the least. He is...an inspiration.
So that is my weekend, punctuated with various dance rehearsals and an awful lot of pain due to said dance rehearsals. The thought of this amazing opportunity far overshadows all other miseries in my life right now (The Chief one being that I am being forced to study Of Mice And Men, which I hate due to its seeming depth but utterly awful dialogue and 2D characters)
